Hey everyone,

I have been gluten intolerant for almost three years now. I finally faced my own reality about six months ago and have been really good about sticking to my GF diet. It is a blessing and a curse. I feel so much better, but I dream about all the food I wish I could still eat! Anyway I love soccer. The color pink makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and I am the most random person alive!!! So…………………..

Before I was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance I had a million problems…health wise of course..? I’m talking off the charts from gastrointestinal symptoms to non-intestinal symptoms. Can you imagine being in school, as hard as that is, and feeling like crap from the moment you got there to the moment you leave. I, like almost everyone I’ve talked to, have heard the same routine from doctor to doctor. It’s heart burn or your severely bloated. It’s like they think your meaning to feel like crap. Who does that?

Finally, finally my savior came and I got diagnosed with a gluten intolerance. As others of us would immediately think of the negatives to this life long curse, I jumped for joy!!!! I would be rid of all my, my problems! I had an answer. Little did I know the life long struggle that I was really in for.

So there’s my story. At this point in time I am trying to live gluten-free to the fullest, and write about my struggles in the endless battle to find good GF food!!!!

Anyways, just cause I’m gluten-free doesn’t mean I’m an alien. I’m still human? …..I enjoy some rockin music and epic movies and TV just like all the gluten-filled people.

Taylor Swift (who doesn’t love the hair.)
Augustana..(you may have heard their hit Boston, but their other music is way better.)
Never Shout Never (the lyrics are electrifying I love “on the brightside”)
Coldplay (I don’t need an explanation for this one)
Bruno Mars (He is the master behind the hits Billionaire by Travie McCoy and Nothin on You by B.O.B. He sings the chorus to both songs!!)
Melissa Polinar (She is way talented, but not exactly discovered yet. Her lyrics are beautiful and so is her voice. Her best song is “meant to be” the unplugged version.
As for TV shows the office is the best show ever made. For movies I love Tommy Boy among many others!!!
